TV SERIES

I recently had the pleasure of grading all 36 episodes of the fantastic STARZ produced show "Spartacus". This was produced over 4 seasons, predominantly shot on the Genesis and Phantom Cameras.

Working closely with the producers, directors of photography and the creative directors we produced beautiful images that started their life as green screen backdrops.

Other projects have ranged from drama series, including ABC's “Legend of the Seeker”, through to documentaries such as Hamish Keith’s "Big Picture", Shirley Horrocks’ "Questions for Mr Reynolds" and Jeremy Wells’ "The Grand Tour with NZSO"; just to name a few!

FEATURE FILMS

I was proud to be asked to grade a particularly important film to NZ: "BEYOND THE EDGE" showing the extremely difficult journey that Sir Edmund Hillary had in climbing Mt Everest. A mixture of archive footage, stills and Red Epic shot in 3D stereoscope by Richard Bluck (DOP) and directed by the award winning Leanne Pooley.

I was also fortunate to grade a beautiful ballet "Giselle" shot by NZ's very own Leon Narbey and directed by Toa Fraser, who both did a beautiful job.

I have been privileged to grade some beautiful imagery from many other talented directors, who have been happy to allow me add my creative input to their films, such as "Most Fun You Can Have Dying", "Lovebirds", "Matariki", etc. including 66 by Asun Mawardi.

I have also been involved with various big budget Hollywood films including “Narnia”, “Underworld 3”, “Prince Caspian” and “Aliens in the Attic”.
